The Mansa court has adjourned the next hearing in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case to October 17, 2025. The delay comes after procedural requirements and the need to accommodate testimonies from key individuals involved in the investigation.

During the latest court session, police employee Manpreet Singh provided important testimony regarding the investigation, shedding light on aspects of the case. Additionally, accused Deepak Mundi was presented in court. However, the hearing could not proceed with all planned testimonies. Balkaur Singh, father of the late singer Sidhu Moosewala, was unable to appear due to health issues. He submitted a formal request for exemption from personal presence, which the court accepted.

The adjournment allows the court to schedule a session where Balkaur Singh can provide his testimony, an important element in the ongoing investigation and judicial proceedings. Authorities and legal representatives noted that the father’s testimony is significant for understanding family perspectives and certain investigative leads.

The case has drawn widespread attention across Punjab and the country due to Sidhu Moosewala’s prominence as a singer and public figure. Security arrangements and procedural scrutiny remain high, given the sensitivity of the case.

As the investigation continues, authorities are closely monitoring evidence collection, witness statements, and procedural compliance. The October 17 hearing is expected to include key testimonies and potentially further updates on investigative progress. Legal experts suggest that the outcome of these proceedings could shape the trajectory of the trial, offering clarity on both evidence and accountability in the high-profile case.

The next hearing is therefore highly anticipated by both the public and stakeholders involved in the case.
