The landslides primarily struck areas around Mirik, Sukhiyapokhri, Nagarkata, and Darjeeling town. Mirik suffered the most damage, with multiple houses buried under debris. In addition, the collapse of the Dudhiya Iron Bridge disrupted transportation, further complicating relief operations.
