Miller's Ferry 3rd Annual Junior Firefighter Muster

ROWAN COUNTY - The Miller’s Ferry Volunteer Fire Department located in Rowan County will be hosting the 3rd Annual Junior Firefighter Muster on September 11th, 2010.

Kannapolis Fire will be the co-hosting department this year.

We would like to invite departments with junior firefighters and/or explorer programs to join us for the muster.

There will be six events this year for teams to participate in: Tug-O-War, Bucket Brigade, Turnout Gear Relay, Flying the Y, Junior Firefighter Competition and Water Ball.

Each team will be competing for trophies which will be given out at the end of the competition.

Food will be available throughout the day along with tee-shirts.

If any department is interested in participating this year, please contact the Miller’s Ferry Volunteer Fire Department at 704-637-1286.

The registration deadline for this event will be September 1st, 2010.
