RALEIGH - Registration for the North Carolina Main Street Fire Parade is now open.
The parade start time has changed this year to 10:00 a.m.
Parade units will also now be located in a better post-parade parking location for inspection and photography.
Units will be located just outside of the Expo Hall on Cabarrus Street between McDowell and Salisbury Street.
We are soliciting units from across the state: modern and antique apparatus, honor guards and pipe and drum corps.

Trophies will again be awarded in the following categories:
- Best appearing Modern Engine
- Best appearing Modern Aerial
- Best appearing Special Apparatus
- Best appearing Antique Apparatus
- Best appearing Honor Guard
- Best appearing Pipe and Drum Band
- Longest Distance Traveled
