BRUNSWICK COUNTY - Several Brunswick County fire companies responded for a commercial fire on March 6th at 10:14 hours.

Civietown Engine 974 arrived to find heavy fire and smoke showing from a 2-bay car shop.

Engine 974 quickly pulled crosslays and began flowing water on the fire.

Shallotte Engine 1 layed 600 feet of five-inch supply line.

Crews from Civietown (Brunswick Station 9), Shallotte (15), Supply (13) and Tri Beach (8) battled the blaze for several hours.

Firefighters had to use saws to gain access through the garage doors into the structure. Crews found two fully involved vehicles inside of the structure.

Additional agencies included Brunswick County EMS, Brunswick County EM and the SBI.
