HIGH POINT - High Point firefighters responded for a well involved dwelling fire on Wednesday, March 3rd at 14:09 hours.
Off-duty High Point Fire Captain Curtis Madden was able to capture the structure fire just as firefighters were arriving.
The house at 233 Friendly Avenue required the response of Engines 9, 13, 2 and 6; Ladder 2, Squad 1 and Battalion Chief 2.
Crews stretched two 1.75-inch attack lines and approximately 300 feet of five-inch supply line.
The fire was knocked down by twenty firefighters in about 15 minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
