HILLSBOROUGH - Orange Rural Fire Department hosted live burn training on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Firefighters from Chapel Hill, Efland, New Hope and Orange Grove also participated.

With heavy smoke showing, one crew makes an interior attack while a second team stands ready. Additional firefighters feed hose to the primary crew.

Scott Hackler and Chief Jeff Cabe review safety precautions prior to the day of training.

Tankers stand ready off the main road. Over 14 apparatus, including medical and rescue for rehab, were staged in three separated locations around the scene.
