MECKLENBURG COUNTY - At 18:38 hours on Sunday, Idlewild Volunteer firefighters were dispatched for a MVC in the area of Sam Newel Road and Williams Road.

Medic 12 arrived first and confirmed and entrapment.

Idlewild Fire and EMS arrived and quickly worked to free the injured driver of the single car MVC.

Firefighters Miller and Rasmussen quickly put the rescue took in service and had the patient free in a matter of minutes.
