Warren County

WARREN COUNTY - Warrenton Rural VFD, Macon Rural VFD, and Norlina VFD responded to a reported structure fire in the early morning hours of January 23 on Gibson Court just outside of Warrenton.

A Warren County Deputy was the first on the scene and radioed that flames were coming from a mobile home.

Macon Engine-91 and Warrenton Rural Engine-31 arrived on scene at the same time and advised that the structure was fully involved.
The resident reported that he fell asleep on the couch and awoke to flames all around him. He was able to escape without any injuries but lost all of his possessions. The trailer was a total loss.
Warren County EMS, Warren County Fire Marshall, and the Red Cross also responded.
