RALEIGH - Fire gutted an apartment complex Friday afternoon on Arcadian Court in Raleigh near Capital Boulevard.

Pictures from Chopper 11 HD showed flames through the roof of the 2-story, multi-unit, buildings.

It wasn’t immediately clear how many units were damaged, but it was obvious multiple apartments were destroyed by the blaze.

Dense heavy black smoke was visible for miles.
