As we update content on the site, it is updated on the toolbar. There’s also a built-in Google search, Incident Ticker and a link to Live North Carolina Fire Department Radios that we provide.

New REFLECTIVE Stickers

Our new batch of 4.5” stickers are in.

Scroll down, and you’ll see the design is just a little different than before. Our first generation (known as the quick-fading sticker), had the red and white chevrons.

The second generation, this time covered and sealed to protect against fading, featured red and yellow-lime chevrons, which you’ll soon be seeing more of on new deliveries.

This time, we took the jump and printed 100% REFLECTIVE stickers. They are also sealed and protected against fading. Cost about three times as much, but we’ve always been a fan of the upgrade......

At this time, we’ll fill any pending sticker orders we have received on the website.

For this first order, you’ll be able to pick some up from us next week in Winston-Salem at the state convention. I think we are assigned Booth 45. Visit www.ncsfa.com for details and registration info and times.

After we see how many we distribute in Winston, we’ll post a message here for any left over ones after the show. We anticipate placing another order soon.

Please encourage the vendors you do business with to advertise on our site. Advertising proceeds get rolled right back into marketing efforts (like the stickers). I’m sure that now that we’ve gone reflective, there’s no going back. Who turns in their satellite radio for AM?

FN.N Stickers

The FireNews.net sticker is still available. If you requested one of the first batch of stickers, chances are that it faded. The new sticker (identified by the bright YELLOW chevrons) is from a new manufacturer, and should be more fade resistant. To get yours, drop us a line from the Contact page. Include your mailing address and how many stickers you would like.

UPDATE: July 10 2008: We are currently out of stock of all stickers.

We anticipate placing a new order so that we have plenty for the state convention in August.

We have a limited supply of FireNews.net patches available. If you would like one, send a self-addressed stamped envelope (at least 4 inches square) to FireNews.net, 3211 Kenly Ct, Raleigh, NC 27607. Include enough postage to cover the weight of the patch. You do NOT have to send us one of your patches.
