DESCRIPTION: Goldsboro Fire Department along with El-Roy Fire Department were dispatched to a working structure fire at Kearneys Paint and Hardware.
El-Roy Car 3 checked on scene and advised units of a working fire. El-Roy Engine 3 layed a 5 inch supply to Goldsboro Engine 5 and began a defensive operation. Goldsboro Engine 2 arrived on scene and set up their ladder and set up a ladder pipe operation. Command requested additional units from New Hope and Pinewood fire departments. After the fire was knocked down crews began mop up inside the structure. Crews remained on the scene until alittle after 0400 this morning. The cause of the fire is not determined at this time although foul play is not suspected.

DESCRIPTION: Responded to a report of a construction worker that fell off of the Hwy 64 Business bridge, known locally as the old Manns Harbor Bridge. Upon arrival, multiple victims were in the water. Two were rescued and a search is underway for the third person. Initial reports are that none were wearing flotation devices when the incident occured. The US Coast Guard and the Roanoke Island Volunteer Fire Department are assisting.

DESCRIPTION: Dive teams with Hudson Fire & Rescue assisted Caldwell County Emergency Management and Collettsville Fire/Rescue in locating and recovering the body of a Virgina man missing after fishing in the Gorge area of Caldwell County around Brown Mountain Beach Campground. Initially dispatched as a missing person assumed in the water, dive, land search and atv teams were enroute to the area. North Catawba FD arrived to assist with carry-out and dive operations, as well as deploying their ATV team to the scene. Land SAR teams also arrived from Patterson, Valmead, and Gamewell fire departments. All units in service after finding the victim in approximately 12-15 ft of water, removing patient and transferring same to awaiting EMS crew from Caldwell County Emergency Services.
