DESCRIPTION: Dispatched to reported Woods fire. On arrival heavy smoke visible in a gated storage lot. Access gained and found 1/2 acre woods and debris fire with moderate progression. Engine 331 and Brush 335 arrived and along with NCFD made intial attack on fire. Several large junk peices and vehicles had become involved as well and a second request was made for a tanker to respond. Fire was controlled and investigation found subject had been using a grinder to cut up the frames and debris for scrap. WFD back in service.
